Project Description:

74,200SF, 5+ stories including two basement levels. Scope of work included complete HVAC, electrical and plumbing upgrades, new finishes and new windows for the entire facade. Renovation of the second floor and portions of 3 and 4 for faculty offices, classrooms and labs.

Project Description: Full renovation and reconstruction as the first of MIT future libraries program. Scope included 2 floors and 2 sub basements, installation of a new elevator, multiple offices, common areas and circulation area. The Courtyard included full renovation and repair of courtyard drainage system, waterproofing membrane and irrigation system (the entire library archival collection is located under the exterior courtyard). Landscaping improvements included in the planting of new trees, along with ground covering, benches with integrated lights and a new pavilion with an all glass front facing the newly landscaped courtyard.
