MIT 600 Memorial Drive

Elaine Construction was selected by MIT as the construction manager for the complete interior demolition and renovation of 600 Memorial Drive, a 6 story building overlooking the Charles River in Cambridge, MA. The 10 month project featured new finishes, lighting and interior glazing throughout as well as a welcome center/lobby area that included cork flooring, specialty lighting and floating acoustic ceiling panels. The project also called for several major building infrastructure upgrades including a new emergency generator and fire pump.
