Brandeis University
Elaine Construction was selected to provide construction management services for the renovation of Brandeis University's USDAN Student Center. The 30,000 square foot renovation impacted one half of the USDAN building which housed the student cafeteria, administrative offices and student lounges.
Elaine Construction's major challenge was to install a new fire alarm and sprinkler system throughout the space. This included the cafeteria area which is operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The project called for the renovation of a majority of the building's administrative areas, including the “One-Stop” lounge. All work on this six month project was completed with minimal disruption to the student population and university staff.
